This week in class we did many things to help set us up for the future. We started on Tuesday by taking a traits quiz and they laid out professions that went with those traits. During this I found many jobs that I was already planning to go look for after college. Those professions are teaching and coaching. This is great for me because I want to be a history teacher and a wrestling coach after college. We also went over cover letters, which never knew were a thing. This was very good and important knowledge to know especially because I will need them after college. For me, the top five most important things for a cover letter is, keep it short and simple, do not repeat your resume, make it different for every job you apply for, add personality, and to make sure you put in your contact information and the best way to reach you. We will do a cover letter in class and I am looking forward to it because it will be great practice for me to know how to do them and get better at them.
