For the project I have been thinking a lot about doing it about the Muhlenberg students that were soldiers. I think that this is so cool that not only did these students go to the same school as me but that this school also reached about and cared about these individuals. This is a very interesting to me because it feels the most personal to me and I feel like I am able to relate to these people because they went to Muhlenberg. They all truly loved it here and missed it so much that they would write about it in times of darkness or hardship. That just goes to show how awesome this place is. Learning what these students went through during the war and them still having time to write back to Muhlenberg is truly special. Another topic I might want to do is war in the Pacific. The Muhlenberg letters would be able to help me on that because some of these guys go into depth about their experience in the Pacific. This would be a great way for me to be able to mix the two.
